Located behind groves of tall shady trees, Sade offers wonderful seclusion yet it’s just 200 yards from the white sands of charming Smugglers Cove Beach, one of the prettiest on the island. This lovely property comprises a two-story Main House and a Guest Cottage which are connected by a garden walkway. The fully air-conditioned Main House has by bold accent walls in burnt orange, teal and aqua, original Caribbean art and Asian-influenced furnishings in teak and mahogany. The Main House has four equal-sized master suites, two on each level, that have air-conditioning, cable TV, DVD player and a private balcony furnished with comfy seating and a tiled bathroom en suite. La Calanque Rouge is situated on the outskirts of the small fishing village of Théoule sur Mer and is just a short 10 minute drive to the center of Cannes. Built on top of a cliff, the house was recently renovated to a very high standard. Its design makes the most of the spectacular views with large windows throughout and large south facing terraces, one of which has a plunge pool with Jacuzzi spa and current controls. All rooms look over the pretty Mediterranean garden and the sea beyond. Making this delightful property even more special are the steps from the garden that lead directly to a secluded and very private beach which is only accessible by land from this house. Located at the tip of prestigious Ocean Point, this substantial house, with its high ceilings and very attractive décor, was built in the early 90′s. Set amid lush and colorful landscaping with coconut palms and masses of bougainvillea, hibiscus and frangipani, Sunset Point appears to be two houses though it is, in fact, only one. Built in two separate sections, which are connected by wrap around decks, this great house was designed for maximum privacy with the master bedroom in one building and the rest of the bedrooms in the other. And everywhere one looks is sublimely colored water.

Sunset Point’s design also incorporates the spectacular surroundings with each room facing the water and opening onto a covered deck. The daytime view of Sapodilla Bay’s beautiful pale turquoise water is rivaled only by the fantastic Caribbean sunsets later. From the large pool area, which has chaises longues and a table and chairs, stairs lead down to a dock on the bay for swimming. Within a three-minute walk is the lovely crescent shaped Taylor Bay Beach with its powdery white sand and shallow water and nearby tennis courts. Sunset Point is a wonderful house for a family or group of friends.

Frenchman’s Lookout, one of Tortola’s best properties, is on a small cay connected to West End by a charming bridge. Electronic security gates lead to this completely private estate, which is surrounded by mature and lush tropical foliage. Originally an infamous pirates’ lookout, Frenchman’s Lookout offers sweeping 300-degree views over Sir Francis Drake Channel of turquoise water and some 12 islands and cays. Because of its location, sultry and silky tradewinds are constant and the sight of passing sail and motor boats adds to the sublime visuals. Two of the islands prettiest beaches, Smuggler’s Cove and Long Bay Beach are about 10 minutes away by car. There are also shops and restaurants nearby.

This Caribbean plantation-style house has been completely renovated and the results are an absolutely wonderful combination of grace and great style. All the large rooms on both floors, including the bathrooms, have high ceilings and mahogany French doors, which open onto a wide wraparound verandah with hammocks, seating areas and water views. Throughout the house are Mexican saltillo tiles, seagrass mats, antiques and fine art. Furnishings are sumptuous and comfy and all five of the romantic bedrooms have air-conditioning. Set in a lovely garden, and also overlooking the water, is an L-shaped 25′ x 50′ pool with a shallow area for small children. Adjoining it is a very fun gazebo with a large gas barbecue, fridge and a wet bar with seating. Also within the garden is a 6 person hot tub overlooking the harbor and a children’s play area. Down a stone path is a separate cottage with a state-of-the-art gym and game room.

Rental of Frenchman’s Lookout includes breakfast 6 days a week and one full day on the house’s power boat. When bringing this marvelous property back to life, no expense was spared. And to make arrival and departure totally painless, guests can charter the owner’s Lear Jet!

Tucked in its own private enclave behind an electronic gate, Isla Vista has sweeping sea views from its breezy hillside location. Lushly landscaped grounds surround this two-bedroom house, which is bordered by the gorgeous Virgin Islands National Park. The property offers wonderful seclusion yet it’s just a few minutes’ drive into Cruz Bay, Caneel Bay Hotel’s beaches and Hawksnest Beach. A few minutes farther are all the truly beautiful north shore National Park beaches. Isla Vista features a spacious two-level floor plan with beautiful custom interiors, expanded by dramatic island views stretching to the horizon.

Isla Vista’s breezy and secluded Caneel Hill location and amazing views are impressive, but the interior design and the attention paid to detail puts this house in a class by itself – from cool travertine floors throughout; vaulted cypress ceilings; rich mahogany cabinetry, windows and doors; custom lighting inside and out to the artistic stained glass windows. Castello di Pergolato is a beautiful example of a Medieval Tuscan castle. This extraordinary estate is set high on a hillside in the Chianti wine region just south of Florence on the road to Siena. It was originally built in the 10th century on the ruins of an ancient Roman settlement by the Buondelmonti family, who owned the castle for nine centuries. During the Renaissance (between 1450 and 1500) the inside of this feudal castle was converted into a villa and recently it has been beautifully restored by its current owners. No detail has been overlooked. The castle is filled with fine Italian antiques, gracious, comfortable sofas and chairs, gorgeous canopy beds and all modern conveniences including an elevator.

A huge central reception room divides the castle into two sections, the Conventino and the Torre. This magnificent room also opens on to an arched patio that overlooks the elegant swimming pool and out over the sweeping valley of the Pesa River. In all there are a total of eleven bedrooms (six with bathrooms en suite): two masters, six doubles and three singles. There are also two powder rooms. An impressive private villa, Villa Emeralda offers guests a wonderful location in northern Sardinia, Porto Rotondo, well known as Smeralda coast. Technology and great comfort make this villa very special, apart from the area in which it is situated, immersed in the countryside along with other villas on one of the most exclusive coastlines. There is private access directly from the villa to the beach, 150 metres away. The beaches in Italy are never privately owned but in this case the only people using this beach are guests of Villa Emeralda and other occasional guests of the nearby villas. The well maintained garden, slopes gently towards the swimming pool, which is equipped with a swim against the current system and is heated by solar panels which allow the temperature to rise 4 ° or 5 ° C higher than the environment. An outdoor kitchen area with barbecue, built in granite table and benches is close to the pool. The large open-plan living/dining area is simply, but stylishly decorated with light coloured, modern furnishings and terracotta tiles throughout. In particular, the dining area is very light thanks to a large window which extends nearly the whole wall and allows you to admire the sea from indoors. This room opens onto a large terrace with outdoor sitting and dining area with views towards the sea and garden. The property has sheltered parking for 4 cars and a private gym, a personal trainer can be arranged on request. A car, Kia Carnival, 7 seats with full insurance coverage and unlimited mileage is available and included in the weekly rate.
