Mangwana is a dramatic example of the 21st century’s new generation of highly engineered Caribbean architecture, set in a truly spectacular location.

Based on the Moorish principle of using water as a central feature, most of the rooms lead directly off the elegant pool, making Mangwana spacious, cool and airy yet surprisingly intimate. Situated at the top of Friendship Heights, Bequia, Mangwana offers one of the most breathtaking locations on Bequia.

From the wooden sun deck at tree top level, guests have a captivating 300 degree view encompassing Bequia, Battowia and Balliceaux to the east, Mustique (only six miles away) to the southeast, the entire south Grenadines and Bequia’s own leeward side with its beautiful beaches. You could spend your entire vacation watching the ever-changing effects of light on the reefs below, the ebb and flow of the ocean, and the passage of the sun, moon and clouds over the bays and lush hills of Bequia to the distant islands beyond. Watch the sunrise directly from your bed or the sunset from the west facing balconies with a cool sundowner in hand.

Imaginative Spaces
You enter Mangwana at mezzanine level directly into a vast living area with vaulted ceiling, open- plan kitchen and magnificent 16 ft high Brazilian hardwood doors which in turn open onto the pool and frame one of the villa’s many stunning views. The villa also enjoys a spacious south-west facing shaded terrace with BBQ and a peaceful walled garden.

Mangwana is a family house with ample opportunities for fun and action. It has its own games room and TV room. Amenities include table tennis, table football, a rowing machine and massage table, plus an area for petanque (boules) in the grounds below.

Six wonderful Bedrooms
Mangwana’s six cool and breezy bedrooms are large and versatile. Two have king-sized beds whilst the remaining four have twin beds which can be put together to make king sized doubles if preferred. Five of the six bedrooms have their own en suite bathrooms; two of them open to the night skies. All bedrooms have their own private balcony, some overlooking the pool, others looking outwards over the ever-changing seascape.

Mangwana also has a private guest wing with its own kitchen and laundry room and two large balconies with breathtaking views.

Located high above Bequia, Mangwana is exceptionally quiet and peaceful, yet it is just a ten minute drive to the shops bars and restaurants of Bequia’s Port Elizabeth and the beaches of Lower Bay, Princess Margaret Bay and Friendship Bay. A car is recommended so is therefore included as complimentary with Mangwana’s vacation package.

Hibiscus Villa is a luxurious new home designed to enjoy Caribbean living inside and out in lovely, unspoiled Grenada. The villa is beautifully designed and furnished with tropical-style décor and architecture. Outside, the villa has spacious terraces and a large saline pool. Spectacular views of the ocean, bay and mountains can be seen inside and out. Guests at Hibiscus Villa can enjoy relaxed, luxurious Caribbean living in their own private villa.

Hibiscus Villa is ideal for groups, families, couples and honeymooners – private and romantic. The first 3 guests so far at the new villa (finished Summer 2009) all used the same word – “fabulous!”

Hibiscus Villa’s main floor has a large, open living area with three sets of French doors open to the terrace, allowing guests to enjoy the spectacular views right from the villa. As the owner’s hobby is gourmet cooking, the spacious kitchen is well outfitted. A dining table seats eight.

There are two master bedrooms, each with a king bed and French doors opening to its own deck to enjoy the beautiful views, and at opposite ends of the house for privacy. The third bedroom has a queen bed. All three bedrooms have a full private bath, ceiling fan, and a.c., and are upstairs from the living area – private and quiet. A day bed and trundle in the study provides additional beds for older children or smaller adults.

Hibiscus Villa has a spacious outdoor terrace of lovely coral stone with a large (32’) saline pool, both sunny and shaded areas, and privacy from neighbors. It is comfortably furnished with teak outdoor furniture – a dining table for six, comfortable lounge chairs, and six chaise lounges. On the outdoor terrace guests can laze in the sun, read in the shade, swim in the pool, dine, and have cocktails – all while overlooking spectacular views of the ocean, bay and mountains.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a profusion of tropical flowering plants, bushes and trees, including 8 kinds of palms.

Villa l’Enclos is located on the hillside of a private property of Colombier, which is a really peaceful area of St Barth. The advantage of the island is that nothing is far from the villa. In the neighborhood, there is one of the most popular beaches of St Barth, a famous bakery and some restaurants that offer delivery service. L’Enclos is at 5 minutes driving from the airport and from the shopping areas.

Imagine you chilling out at Villa l’Enclos in the swimming pool that gives you the illusion of overflowing into the ocean bellow. It is equipped with a counter-current.

From the living room and the kitchen, you can see the ocean and the sunset while watching a movie or preparing the dinner.

The two bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and independent bathrooms. They were laid out in such a way that everyone can preserve its privacy. A fitness room equipped with air conditioning is at your disposition. A wireless connection is available on the whole property.

From the dining deck perched 150 meters high, you can contemplate the Ocean, from Gustavia Harbor to the East side of St-Barth, and enjoy the sunsets all year long. Both aperitifs and lunches in the moonlight are unforgettable.

Villa Avalon is one of St. Barths’ great properties of charm and character. The mature gardens of Latanier palms, fruit trees and night blooming jasmin evoke a memory of the French west Indies lifestyle from long ago. The long driveway leads up to the villa main parking and stairs. A service road provides further parking behind the villa with direct access to studio/laundry area and rear entrance to the kitchen and dining pavilion.

Landscape lighting illuminates the gardens automatically at sunset creating a tropical wonderland. Mosaic pool with built in jacuzzi jets sets the theme for poolside entertaining and lounging. Bose home entertainment system has outdoor speakers and indoor surround sound in salon/library.

Dining pavilion seats 12 for more formal dinners and the outdoor gazebo with stone and glass table seats 6 to 8 for lunchtime dining al fresco, overlooking the beautiful Leeward ocean views.

Each room is tastefully decorated with handpainted colonial or west Indian furnishings, mixed with rococo style antiques and paintings. The studio, recently built has a modern decor with mosaic and glass bathroom as well as a small balcony overlooking the gardens. The laundry sitting area has a full kitchen and T.V. and is in direct access to the studio entrance.

The lower guest room is off of the stairs going up to the main level pool/dining pavilion. A few steps further up and there is a cozy, salon/ library pavilion with a guest room above accessed by a wood staircase on the exterior. There is a rock and Mexican tile bathroom off the side of the salon terrace with rocking chairs to relax in the cool breezes and take in the views.

Further up the stairs is a small deck with herb garden and the entrance to the master pavilion and terrace with outdoor dining.

There is a small breakfast kitchen at the entrance to the master suite, facilitating the breakfast service. The master suite has a high four poster colonial bed with views overlooking the ocean.

There is wifi access throughout the villa as well as a small safe in each bedroom. All bedrooms and salon have air conditioning and paddle fan.

Daily maid service included, except Sundays and holidays unless requested in advance at extra charge. Personal laundry service available, as well as a chef.
